INFORMATION
Customized first, second and third place awards will be presented to each class. Lunch and water will be provided, and a certified athletic trainer will also be present on location for athletes. Registration must be submitted by August 31, 2025 in order to secure a shirt. After this date, there will be no promise or guarantee.
RULES
The cost of entry is $45 for heavy events. Entries are limited to 10 athletes per class. Field entries are only accepted if there is room available. No refunds.
Competitors must enter and compete in all events in order to be eligible for the overall athlete award.
Pre-registration for the highland games ends September 30, 2025.
Athletes must be registered and on the field before the first event begins.
A waiver must be signed (via form or electronically) by any person competing, judging, assisting on the competition field, or present on the property.
All athletes must wear a kilt.
Decisions made by the judges and athletic directors are final. A judge or athletic director has the ability to disqualify any competitor if necessary.
A copy of the rules for all heavy events will be available at the scores tent.
Athletes are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner, maintaining a friendly and respectful attitude towards the judges, staff and other participants.
All rules are subject to change without notice by the athletic director.
SUBMISSION
This is a first come, first serve process. We MUST have your registration form, release and payment in order to secure your spot in the class of your choosing. Availability will be limited and no spots will be held. For any questions, please contact our team at info@unitedscotsok.com.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
I HEREBY, for myself and my heirs, release any and all rights/claims for damages or injuries I may have against the Oklahoma Highland Gathering as well as any and all participating sponsors, supporters, property owners, referees, field helpers, or any other authorized personnel as a result of my traveling to, participating, or traveling from the 2025 Oklahoma Highland Gathering. I make this release and waiver of claim with the full knowledge of the hazards and inherent risks associated with the above mentioned competition. I expressly assume the risk of injury and property damage/loss.
I HEREBY, state that I have read all rules and regulations for the competition and state that all the information asked for in this form is true and valid, and I agree to abide by all the rules and policies governing this competition. I agree to pay any attorney fees and litigation expenses incurred by any person, real or corporate, whom I may sue in an effort to challenge this release from liability. I understand that my agreement to pay attorney fees and litigation expenses is the sine qua non for the acceptance of my entry in this contest. I understand that any image or likeness of my image taken while attending the Oklahoma Highland Gathering will become the property of the United Scottish Clans of Oklahoma.
