Product Description

The wool in the Oklahoma tartan is weaved in Scotland and sent directly to USAKilts in Pennsylvania to be cut and stitched into a kilt of your exact measurements.

Since these kilts are custom tailored, they can take 6 to 10 weeks to be built, and we want to make sure that you will be 100% satisfied.

When placing your order, make sure you have accurate measurements.  Sizing a Kilt is not difficult but does require accuracy.

  1. For the most accurate results, use a proper soft tape measure and do not “suck-in” when doing measurements.  You want the kilt to sit comfortably.
  2. The “Waist Measurement” on the kilt is taken at the “True waist” (across the belly button).
  3. The “Hip Measurement” is measured at the widest part of the rear end.  It is recommended that even if this measurement is the same as the waist, go ahead and add 4″ inches to this measurement to give a proper hang.
  4. The “Length” measurement is very important to consider since you don’t want your kilt too long or too short.  This measurement is taken down from the to of where the kilt would be to the middle of the knee.  (An example would be I am 5’8, and I have a 22.5″ in length)
  5. And last (but not least), DO NOT GO OFF YOUR JEANS SIZE.  These have vanity measuring and do not reflect actual measurements.
